Children and staff at T?֬? Hafan “got their skates on” on Wednesday morning 8 February to be ready to welcome Olympic skater Robin Cousins MBE to the hospice, after his show Tropicana opened at the Motorpoint Arena on the previous evening.
The family hospice for young lives has been the Holiday on Ice nominated charity for the past nineteen years to benefit from the Gala Night and during the breath taking performance, Frank Ady from T?֬? Hafan was on hand to receive a cheque for £1,000 from the now world famous ice show choreographer.
Robin spent a couple of hours at T?֬? Hafan meeting some of the children and staff
He said, “This was a fantastic opportunity to visit T?֬? Hafan and to see how the money raised is used to directly benefit the families. It’s good to know the money raised through Holiday on Ice is helping to give them real support and making a big difference to their lives. ”
